One of the goals that we set for Lizzy for this school year was to learn to sing 10 new songs. She helped choose which songs she was going to learn and did a good job learning them. When starting to learn a new song, she would take a couple of days just listening to me sing it. After listening she would start singing and sometimes ask me to say the words before we would sing a phrase together.
After seeing Matthias finishing his first goal chart and get a prize, she became very motivated to learn her last song because she knew what she wanted.
Now she is excited to finish up her next goal chart. After her first choice for a prize, can you guess what she wants for her next prize?

ReplyDeleteThanks for all the positive comments! Lizzy's next goal is to write her first and last name by herself and to recognize all the letters (both upper and lower case) and their sounds. She's getting really close on those goals too.
