We decided to spend the Saturday before Father's Day at the Stone Mountain Laser show. We were lucky that Matthias took a long nap Saturday afternoon. I was worried about how Lizzy would act as she didn't get a nap in the afternoon; however, she fell asleep on the way there and stayed asleep for at least a half an hour after we got there. So we had two happy kids the whole evening. Since we arrived about two and a half hours before the show began we spent the time eating a picnic dinner, wrestling, walking, playing ball with other kids, and taking pictures. It was a super fun evening. Lizzy wasn't so fond of the fireworks, but has talked about them ever since.

Josh had an fun conversation with Matthias before the show started. He wrote the following on Father's day.
In this pic from yesterday Matthias and I were talking and I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up (expecting he would say a doctor or a monster like he usually does), but he told me this time that he wanted to be a dad. Apparently he thinks that all dads do all day is wrestle and have fun. Happy father's day to all the wrestlers, human jungle gyms, book readers, and ball players everywhere, and thanks for all you do!
