Thanksgiving

This year my mom invited us to join her, my dad, and Paul for Thanksgiving day.  We drove up on Wednesday and made it at a decent time.  It was nice that my mom and I weren't busy cooking all day on Thanksgiving.  We had fun playing games with the kids and playing with the babies.  Dinner was tasty and fun.

On Friday Josh and I left early on Friday to attend the Temple together.  We don't get to do it that often.  We went to the Mt Timpanogos Temple and did sealings, which was really nice.  My mom was kind to get up early and rest on the sofa listening for Ian and Evan.  Luckily they slept the whole time they were gone so it was easy for my mom.

We spent the day spending time with family again.  Then my mom offered to watch our kids that evening so Josh and I could go on a date.  We drove around (including a drive by our home in Provo) and then stopped at a Jamba Juice for a fruit smoothie.  It was just a simple date and nice to spend some time together.

On Saturday we drove up to Garland to have a dinner with the Garn side.  It was fun to see Josh's parents for a bit and chat with some of his cousins.  We were also able to say hi to Josh's Grandma Garn.
